Sil-Kan-Chic (SKC) is a brand which is popular for authentic handloom sarees. Sil-Kan-Chic derives its name from a blend of 3 words, viz. Silk (High quality Pure silk, Kanchi (from Kanchipuram) and Chic (stylish & trendy).
Our founder, Shilpa Mohan, spearheads this retail initiative and comes from a 3rd generation family of Handloom Silk Saree Manufacturers with over 50 years of rich heritage.
SKC is known for pure silks and traditional sarees and for a first hand experience, we invite you to our standalone outlet in Bangalore. SKC's backbone is it's artisans and weavers, handcrafting the divine fabrics in the looms.
SKC is proud to announce the launch of its online e-commerce portal which showcases an extensive collection of carefully crafted and curated sarees woven with the highest quality fabrics. SKC ensures that its customers get their favorite sarees delivered to their doorstep.

Shilpa Mohan
Shilpa Mohan is a Postgraduate in Fine Arts from Chitrakala Parishath. Shilpa has been an avid enthusiast in the field of art and theatre. She has conducted several art classes and workshops for all age groups including differently abled people. She has also held several roles as convenor of cultural committees in resident welfare associations. She loves gardening, dance and music.

Mohan Kumar
Mohan Kumar is a Fellow Chartered Accountant / Cost & Management Accountant having 27 years of diverse experience in the field of Finance encompassing various aspects of Business Strategy, Fund raising, Debt syndication, Controllership, Taxation, Compliance, Risk Management and Corporate Governance. He has been instrumental in raising funds through PE/VC and banking channels and has held senior roles in Pi Data Centers, Avnet India, Motorola, Wipro & M/s. Price Waterhouse Coopers. He holds Diploma in Information Systems Audit and is also a Certified ISO Internal Auditor.
